Pleasure Tip: Wear What Makes You Feel Good
Wear what makes you feel good is a somatic pleasure practice. Clothes are an extension of your energy. You deserve to feel your best every single day not only on special occasions.

Welcome back to my Pleasure tips Series. Today’s pleasure tip is: wear what makes you feel good.
Think about that jacket, that dress or that one piece sitting in your wardrobe reserved for the special occasion.
You are the special occasion, every single day!
This is the heart of a pleasure practice: what you wear is an extension of your energy, and it can be a direct portal into your pleasure, if you let it.

"I believe the more we expand our capacity for pleasure, and the more we care for our body, the more deeply in love with ourselves and life we can feel."
I’m Pleasurelit Patricia, award winning Somatic Pleasure Educator & Perimenopause Coach
After growing up as the good girl, becoming a high achiever and later leaving a DV marriage, I became fascinated by what helps us fall in love with ourselves and life. I have explored hundreds of somatic practices and pleasure tools, alongside more than 20 certifications and years of study across health, nutrition, fitness, somatics, yoga, breathwork, tantra and sexuality.
Through my programs, courses, coaching, and community, I help you build a pleasurable and healthy relationship with your body, so you can feel turned on and deliciously in love with yourself and life itself, especially during perimenopause and at times of disconnection.
I’m the founder of Pleasurelit®, bestselling author of The Pleasurelit Way, and host of Pleasurelit with Patricia, a top 5% globally ranked podcast.
How to wear what makes you feel good
Notice what happens when you put on workout clothes. Something in you shifts toward sporty, ready, capable, before you have done a single rep. The fabric against your skin, the fit, the colour, all of it is already talking to your nervous system.
The same is true for a red lipstick, a pair of hoop earrings that pull you back into a decade you loved, a jacket in the colour that makes you feel hot and confident the second it’s on. Black, red, leopard, whatever your favourites are. They are somatic cues. Your body reads them and responds.
There is nothing wrong with wearing those trackpants when they are comfy and you know you arent going anywhere. Those can also bring pleasure. But notice the energy that comes with it. Often it is a quiet signal to your body that says, I’m done for today, or I’m just going to disappear into the couch. If you have been living in that signal for a while, it is worth trying something different and feeling what shifts.
Maybe you like to change your wardrobe, maybe you already have exactly what you desire. It is also about being present with what you choose to wear when you get dressed. Notice the texture. Cotton, bamboo, silk, whatever it is, does it make you want to wrap yourself in it? Notice the fit, not just comfortable but delicious, does it make you want to move differently in your own body?
This is what it means to build a pleasurable, embodied relationship with your body through something as ordinary as choosing the right clothing for yourself.
Your pleasure energy, your confidence, your turn on.
With love & pleasure,
