Meet Patricia

I’m Patricia, a mother, DV survivor, pleasure explorer & founder of Pleasurelit®.

I grew up with abuse and learnt early to be independent. For most of my life I was capable, responsible, high achieving. I held everything together. From the outside I functioned. Inside, I felt disconnected, on autopilot, tense and constantly on. I wanted to feel loved, chosen, seen. I wanted to be saved. I looked for validation externally.

Until the moment that changed everything. I chose myself. I broke out of my DV marriage. I made my pleasure, my happiness and my safety my responsibility.

That choice became a daily practice and the beginning of my pleasurelit journey.

I started “dating” myself instead of other people. I invited pleasure toys, tools, practices and new sensations into it. Today, I own over 400 pleasure tools, have reviewed hundreds and explored countless pleasure practices. I gave myself permission to lean into my curiosity, led by my body.

At the same time, I went even deeper. Somatic practices. Nervous system regulation. Tantra. Breathwork. Weightlifting. Kink. Yoga. Meditation. Each became a portal to pleasure.

I discovered that pleasure is an energy that is already within us, one we can awaken, deepen and widen.

I once was a woman who didn't love herself. A people pleaser who barely felt her own pleasure. Today, I can access pleasure in life, motherhood, leadership, relationships, in ways I never imagined possible.

Pleasurelit was born from my lived reclamation and transformation. From my desire to be and live from a body lit with pleasure.

I am extensively trained, trauma-informed, and an award-winning educator in pleasure embodiment. What matters most is that I have walked this path myself. I know the disconnection. I know a body in survival mode. And I know what becomes possible when a woman expands her capacity to feel.

I am deeply devoted to this work. Pleasurelit is not a trend for me. It is the way I choose to embody, live, love and lead. It has held me through trauma, full time single motherhood, building a business from nothing, and many other life challenges. I chose pleasure instead of shut down again and again.

I care about women who carry a lot, who hold it all together, who look fine on the outside while their bodies are disconnected, tight and tired underneath. Pleasurelit exists so we can feel alive in our own skin. So we can feel regulated, resourced, deeply connected & deliciously turned on. Lit from within.
