Portal 3: Nervous System Regulation
Feel connected to your body for health & pleasure
Portal to Pleasure in Perimenopause
Perimenopause can bring things into chaos at times, additional stress and unexpected emotions can lead to a more dysregulated nervous system. Tantra, somatic tools, breathing, movement and pleasure practices are even more important during perimenopause. Learning to listen to your body and taking the time to be with it to regulate will help you to feel safe in your body, to experience life and expand your capacity for pleasure in perimenopause.

"I believe the more we expand our capacity for pleasure, and the more we care for our body, the more deeply in love with ourselves and life we can feel."
I’m Pleasurelit Patricia, award winning Somatic Pleasure Educator & Perimenopause Coach
After growing up as the good girl, becoming a high achiever and later leaving a DV marriage, I became fascinated by what helps us fall in love with ourselves and life. I have explored hundreds of somatic practices and pleasure tools, alongside more than 20 certifications and years of study across health, nutrition, fitness, somatics, yoga, breathwork, tantra and sexuality.
Through my programs, courses, coaching, and community, I help you build a pleasurable and healthy relationship with your body, so you can feel deliciously in love with yourself and life itself, especially during perimenopause and at times of disconnection.
I’m the founder of Pleasurelit®, bestselling author of The Pleasurelit Way, and host of Pleasurelit with Patricia, a top 5% globally ranked podcast.
Perimenopause Nervous System Regulation Tips
Have a go-to breathing practice you can do when you need it. For example, make the exhale breath longer than the inhale breath, exhale through pursed lips or use box breathing.
Create a short daily nervous system practice to help you connect with your body. The more connected you are, the better you can listen and support your body, especially during perimenopause.
Notice the thoughts that shows up with a stress spike. Softening negative thoughts around symptoms or situations is a practice that can actually make those feel less intense.
Perimenopause Nervous System Regulation Practice
Create a little perimenopause nervous system toolkit with different practices for various situations, from breathing techniques, mediations, tantra, yoga to walking, dancing and somatic pleasure. You can explore various tools within my online courses and programs.
With love & pleasure,
