Pleasure Tip: Conscious Breathing
Conscious breathing is a practice that can help you getting out of your head and into your body. It sounds simple, yet its super powerful: three breaths you can do anywhere and anytime.

Welcome back to my Pleasure Tips Series. Today’s tip is conscious breathing.
I know that sounds simple, almost too simple, but it is one of the most effective and powerful tools you have with you at all times. It shifts your energy and shifts your entire being within seconds, within minutes.
Think about the moments you are rushing through, or things are getting too much, or you are stuck in your head running through the to-do list or what to cook for dinner, even while you are intimate with your partner. That is exactly when a few conscious breaths can bring you back.

I’m Pleasurelit Patricia, award winning Somatic Pleasure Educator & Perimenopause Coach
After growing up as the good girl, becoming a high achiever and later leaving a DV marriage, I became fascinated by what helps us fall in love with ourselves and life. I have explored hundreds of somatic practices and pleasure tools, alongside more than 20 certifications and years of study across health, nutrition, fitness, somatics, yoga, breathwork, tantra and sexuality.
Through my programs, courses, coaching, and community, I help you build a pleasurable and healthy relationship with your body, so you can feel deliciously in love with yourself and life itself, especially during perimenopause and at times of disconnection.
I’m the founder of Pleasurelit®, bestselling author of The Pleasurelit Way, and host of Pleasurelit with Patricia, a top 5% globally ranked podcast.
How to breathe consciously
Take a big breath in through your nose, and sigh it out through your mouth. Then do it again, another big breath in through your nose and out with a release.
On the third one, give yourself full permission to soften your jaw and soften your shoulders. You might want to move or sway. You might want to sound it out, loud, or low and deep. Lean into that. Release everything on the exhale. And as you inhale, imagine you are inhaling beautiful pleasure energy.
You can make the exhale longer, and you can hum it out if that feels right. The vibration opens the throat, and there are real sensations in the throat and the face worth leaning into.
From there you can add movement, sound, touch. A hand on your own chest, a light touch, even giving yourself a hug while you breathe. All of it drops you further into your body and opens up the portals to your pleasure.
You can do this anywhere. Three conscious breaths.
With love & pleasure,
