Pleasure Toy Tips
Have you ever been curious about pleasure toys but didn’t know where to start? Maybe you’ve walked into a shop or scrolled online and felt overwhelmed by all the options - or maybe you’re nervous about trying something new. Don’t worry, you’re not alone! In today’s video, I’ll share 3 tips to help you confidently explore pleasure toys as a beginner.
Introduction to Pleasure Toys
Pleasure toys are amazing tools for exploring your body, enhancing intimacy, and adding excitement to your solo or partnered play. They’re not about replacing you or your partner- they’re about expanding the possibilities for pleasure and connection.
But I get it - it can feel intimidating at first. That’s why I’m here to show and teach you that it is a journey of exploration that can lead to deeper and more pleasure.
Tip 1: Start with Something Simple
As a beginner, choose a toy that’s simple and non-intimidating, like a bullet vibe. These toys are easy to use, discreet, and perfect for exploring what feels good for you.
Start by using it externally - on your hands, arms, or other non-erogenous zones - just to get comfortable with the sensation. When you’re ready, move to more sensitive areas like your inner thighs or your intimate parts. The key is to explore without pressure - there’s no right or wrong way to enjoy a pleasure toy.
Tip 2: Prioritise Body-Safer Materials
When choosing a toy, always prioritise safety. Look for materials like medical-grade silicone, stainless steel, or ABS plastic. Avoid toys made from jelly or porous materials, as they can harbor bacteria and aren’t always body-safe.
If you’re unsure about the quality of a toy, don’t be afraid to ask questions or do a little research. Within my Pleasurelit School, I guide you through the process of how to choose body safer pleasure toys.
Tip 3: Communication is Key
If you’re exploring toys with a partner, communication is key. Talk openly about your curiosity and what you’d like to try together. For example, you might say, ‘I saw this toy and thought it could be fun for us to try. What do you think?’
Remember, introducing toys into your relationship isn’t about replacing intimacy - it’s about enhancing it. Discuss boundaries, preferences, and even explore toys together to make it a shared experience.

Of course, this is just the beginning. Within my Pleasure Toys Online Course, I go deeper into how to choose the perfect toy for your needs, how to use it effectively, and even how to clean and care for your toys.
We explore different types of toys, like vibrators, dildos, and anal toys, as well as techniques and tips for both beginners and seasoned explorers. Whether you’re playing solo or with a partner, you’ll find everything you need to confidently navigate the world of pleasure toys.
It’s a welcoming space to everyone, where I teach everything from the basics to advanced techniques, all designed to help you feel empowered, educated and excited about your pleasure journey.
Remember, pleasure isn’t a luxury - it’s your birthright. I can’t wait to see you inside the Online Course!
Now go out there, stay curious, and let’s make pleasure a priority!
With love & pleasure,
Patricia
